transition and rebirth where the public can engage in the making of
an incredible urban place. The URBAN ISLANDS project brings
together international and local collaborators to develop strategies
of engagement with post-industrial sites around the world.
URBAN ISLANDS vol 1 : CUTTINGS presents the outcomes
from the 2006 Urban Islands studios on Cockatoo Island, bearing
testament to the energy and ideas generated in this place.
